If there are no air gaps, then that means that there’s enough pressure being applied because the heat energy cannot escape through those narrow spaces as easily as without them.

In MBM, click on “Current Sensor” or “Monitoring,” then select the CPU. If your motherboard supports it, go to a 4-pin CPU fan connector.

The CPU cooler is the cooling fan that blows the cold air to cool down the computer processor.
You need to check if it is working properly because when it breaks, you might think your computer has broken as well.

Step One: Find Your CPU Cooler Location
You can find the location of your CPU cooler in your motherboard box or instruction manual. It should look similar but not the same for all motherboards/computers. For most computers, the CPU cooler is put on top of the power supply.
Step Two: Remove The Cover

After you removed that part, you can see some wires, and there should also be a huge fan blowing cold air at your motherboard. (If the computer doesn’t have a fan, then it needs to be replaced.)

If everything is working properly, then proceed to close up the computer. But if there is something wrong with the cooling system, such as the fan does not blow cold air, you should clean it up or replace the part.
Step Four: Test For a Few Hours
After you have checked your CPU cooler, it is time to test if your computer is still working properly.
It is recommended that you check for a few hours just in case something happens after closing everything up again and turning on the power switch.
If the fan starts to make noises while working or sounds like water splashing coming out of your monitor, you know that there is no problem with the computer.

How to Check If The Liquid Cooler Is Working
If you have a question like, how to check if the liquid cooler is working? It seems interesting to you. There are various ways of checking.
You need to do the following checks on your liquid cooling system and then check how fast it gets to respond in the below cases:
When there isn’t any heat source around your CPU, if you see the temperature of your CPU still low, even though no performance requirement needs a high-speed CPU, this case means that your liquid cooling system is working well, so the flow of coolant is good enough and stable.
Ensure the thermal pad and compound aren’t deteriorated or leaking; take some thermal pads for testing. Press them on the CPU and check if the temperature drops.
If your CPU is under load, you can see how fast the cooling performance is by watching the temperature of liquid and CPU heat sink; And then compare them with thermal pad. If there’s no drop in temperature while using the thermal pad, it is fine to use.
Another method to test how coolant works are to apply a little substance like soap on copper tubes (or stripped wire), dry them off, put some ice cubes on those cleaned areas, or try blowing air over them and see how long before they get cold.
